No time for niceties. We’ve got places to be, so I’m jumping right in.
Six days ago, I released the first and only single off of my upcoming album, Elegant Ensemble. The song is called “Fun!” and the album is coming out via DPI in early May. Elegant Ensemble feels tricky to explain, so I’ll save all that for later.
The cover photo was shot on a freezing, drizzly day at the beach, mere days before I broke my toe. I never really appreciated my toes before, and I guess now I’ve become less appreciative. Resentful, even, of their unreasonable weakness.

Austin Shows
We have dropped our official SXSW showcases. Though it is true that you can dig deeply into any corporation and likely find some ties to evil, what is happening in Gaza is beyond. With SXSW’s ties to the US Army, dropping out of the festival was the very least we could do. We stand with the people of Palestine. Updated dates below (Baby’s has also dropped its ties with SXSW):
